Lens Installation
One of the most dreaded tasks for some people can be lens removal and installation. However this need not be the case. Here are a few tips.
Sport Optical System removal
While the Sport Optical System at first may seem to be a permanent part of your shield, it is actually quite easy to remove.
STEP 1: Grasp the lens between the thumb and forefinger near the bottom of the lens.
STEP 2: Grasp the nose piece where it attaches to the insert and pull straight down. The insert will pull loose from the frame. It can now be cleaned, stored or re-fitted with a new prescription.
STEP 3: To re-install the adapter, simply align the grooves in the insert with the lens and snap into place. You're ready to go!
