Bollé makes an outstanding product. I love the excellence and high standards that define the company, and I seek those same qualities in my career.

I started in large part because of my father's influence (he won two World Long Drive Championships) and now he coaches me. After my first year, we finished third in the world, and won the World Title in 2017. The sport is far more nuanced than people realize - it’s very technical, and everything has to match up for the perfect drive. It’s this constant pursuit of perfection that makes the chase so exciting.

• Place and date of birth Newport Beach, CA. March 17, 1990
• Where do you live now? Jacksonville, FL
• At what age did you start your discipline? As soon as I could walk. My dad actually had me watching him hit golf balls as a baby in a carrier.
• What are the reasons for having chosen it? I love golf, and I love fitness, health and strength and conditioning. Long Drive lets me combine these two passions.
• What is your main objective in your sports career? Simply to improve incrementally every day. While I often cannot control results, I hopefully can control my own performance, and whether I am progressing or regressing. I want to be able to look back and see improvement year after year.
• Why do you choose us as a partner? Bollé makes an outstanding product. I love the excellence and high standards that define the company, and I seek those same qualities in my career.
• What do you like the most in our products? The golf lenses are exceptional, and I often don’t even realize I’m wearing them. That’s when you know you have an outstanding pair of lenses.
• Do you have a particular habit, a ritual before a competition? I always try to get a sweat going a few hours before. I feel this helps wake up my nervous system, and makes it easier to loosen up later.
• What is your favorite competition spot? Mixed martial arts. I feel there is no greater competition than combat sports.
• What is your best memory in your career? Jumping in the stands to kiss my wife after winning the 2017 Volvik World Long Drive Championship. There are a ton of ups and downs in professional athletics, so it was special to share that moment with her.
• Where is your favorite place to relax?  Anywhere with family. I love getting together, enjoying good food and completely turning off my mind. It’s so important to me to have moments to recharge my batteries.
• What is your favorite holiday destination? I actually love Las Vegas! There are so many things to do, different unique hotels, shows and restaurants. I like to be entertained, so it’s a great fit.
• What is your favorite song, artist? I’ve really gotten into Imagine Dragons lately. I’ll often listen/watch a concert of theirs while I’m working out. Switchfoot, Collective Soul, Skrillex ... I’m somewhat musically confused.
• What is your favorite movie? The Dark Knight Rises. No explanation needed.
• What is your favorite dish? To me, nothing beats a perfectly cooked steak.
• What is your favorite activity (besides your sport)? I love staying active and performing different fitness activities. The sense of accomplishment you get after completing a workout is something I’m addicted to.
• Do you have a motto? If I did, it would be something along the lines of “relax,” “chill” or “take it easy.” I think people are generally too highly strung, and this negatively impacts performance. That’s why I love turtles. They are only fast when they want to be, they relax, then snap!
