“The low profile fit and adaptability of the Bollé Furo Mips helmet is what really appeals to me. I do a lot of racing, in every type of weather imaginable.  The ability to add or remove vent covers allows me to optimize its aerodynamics and cooling for each day of racing, which is ideal.  Bollé Shifter eyewear has been a treat to use this year.  The lens choice is key with all the changing weather and light conditions we race in.  Our favorites are Phantom lens: photochromic, they're really always crystal clear”

The Foundation CCB team is one of the oldest and most well-established road cycling teams in the United States, as a cooperation between the CCB International Cycling Club and the CRCA Foundation Cycling Club to support top U23 riders.  Team alumni having won Monuments and Grand Tour stages, and professional level races on 5 continents.  The team has its roots in the CCB club from Basingstoke, England, with riders from the original club coming to the Boston area in the 1970’s.  The club and team grew from there, always fielding a very strong elite-level team that competed internationally against some of the top pro teams.  Over the last 6 years, the team has taken on a critical development role in American cycling, focusing on U23 riders that are also enrolled in university studies.  The team believes in the concept of “education through athletics” and races a very international schedule, including races in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.  In 2019, the team has also expanded the scope of its racing to include “gravel racing”, with some of the top events in the new discipline on its racing program.  The riders grow and develop through exposure to the different styles of racing seen in different areas of the world. But of equal importance, the riders also grow and develop from experiencing the different people, cultures, and countries through their travels of the team’s international race calendar.
